You know the best things in life are neither your grades, your achievements, nor the memories you keep or treasure, the name you leave behind for others to remember or the effort you put into serving the community or in some poor African country. You desperately hope for a solution to the world's problems. You put rationality before faith. When these two are disproportioned, that's when even more problems arise.
There is one faith which puts these issues like softcopies in your head, yet the hardcopies are flushed down the toilet bowl. The problems simplify. Trace them back to the root, and you get a solution as simple as an equation.
Yet that is just one part of the equation, you need rationality too. Being rational means being guided by our intellect. But rationality doesn't require finding the answers to every illogical scenario, because you need an equilibrium.
Having faith requires you to take the first step of stepping back on the rationality scale. Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
I will constantly remind myself. Find the right mix and you'll set your paths straight!
