The Journey of Desire, a book so dangerously describes how most of us feel now. We long for life and we're not sure where to find it! We wonder if we ever do find it, can we make it last? In the book it says..
The meaning of our lives is revealed through experiences that at first seem at odds with each other - moments we wish would never end and moments we wish had never begun. Those timeless experiences we want to last forever whisper to us that they were meant to. We were made to live in a world of beauty and wonder, intimacy and adventure all our days. Nathaniel Hawthorne insisted, "Our Creator would never have made such lovely days, and given us the deep hearts to enjoy them, above and beyond all thought, unless we were meant to be immortal."
In this coming camp, I want to challenge myself to drink even deeper into God's well of wisdom, to set aside everything else. During service I was reminded that we are called to be world changers in every way of our lives. The last and most important condition is to be willing to give up everything. But God did not call us to give up all our desires!
Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
psalms 37:4

'What do you want?'

I want a great adventure tomorrow!
