Before I pick up my guit again and never stop I must try to finish this post.
My life has been pretty amazing. 2* kayaking ended in a weird fashion 'caus me and Aaron didn't have time to celebrate and zoomed off to Batam =(. But I like my tan =). And unlike many people I'm not peeling! Come to think of it we can do a lot of stuff and very little stuff now with 2*, still need power boats for us to cross channels to explore other parts of Singapore, quite sad though. But a lot of interesting skills learnt! Like Eskimo-bow rescue, hip flicks, edging and leaning, sculling draw. It was WORTH IT.
Batam wasn't exactly fun with only 5 ppl out of a whole squad of 21. Not exactly a good place to shop either. Not exactly a good place to have fun either. But I still enjoyed the company even though all we did was - eat, sleep, movie, car rides, shop. Indonesian Chinese are seriously RICH. They own lands, mega shopping malls, islands, and what not. And yeah we visited mega shopping malls which are mostly half empty, and a small offshore island belonging to Job's father's friend. Chilled and relaxing on the island, enjoying the company of 7 dogs, waded around the beach (100000 times better than Kallang water), and drank coconut freshly cut from the trees! Superbly fun that time. And we indulged in seafood 3 times cheaper than what you can find in Singapore. It wasn't a wasted trip after all, all you ponners had better regret.
Today's service was unlike the rest I've gone through. It's sososo much more spiritual for me. I've never connected with God like this before =). Very blessed to have caring people around. I appreciated the honey lemons and the smses.
And happy birthday Daniel! You're a great leader because I know u read my blog once in a while. The deco team did a great job today! I knew those spray cans would come in useful =p.
The ministry drive sets me thinking about how I should go about using my gifts to the fullest potential so I can be useful in His kingdom. I have this sudden calling to join the House Keeping Ministry. Serious. I want to start humbly.
