I watched my first world cup match yesterday nite. And it was one of the craziest! Argentina VS Germany! Even though I bet Germany would win, I secretly hoped the hosts would lose coz Argentina is one of my favourites. So basically 7 of us (me, aaron, yongsheng, ahmad, yunsong, chengyi, ruixiong) were suppose to scale the rock walls at Tanjong Pagar but it was overcrowded. We settled on Aaron's house instead. Which, was superbly big. Nice interior design too. Stepping into Aaron's room is like stepping into a hotel suite. Queen size bed (enough for two person =p). Private balcony. Private toilet. Aha I'm getting quite envious le.

There were two kopitiams in the neighbourhood. Though when I first stepped out from Potong Pasir MRT I thought the place resembled North Korea. The incredible street lamps installed by PAP came equipped with solar panels, yet none was lit up. The grass has grown so long its ticklish to the feet. I think I noe why. Back to the kopitiams. They are competing so each was equipped with a plasma tv. But the one we're in broadcasted the match with 10 secs lag time. So judging from the wows and oohs from the other shop, our match is all but spoilt. By the time the penalty shootout came, everyone deserted to the better one =p. The night was spent frisbeeing in a nearby field. It seriously trains us to use our gut feelings and not rely on our eyes. There was a height-elements pyramid too so we just hung up there like we're on a hammock and talk crap. In fact the craps were so intellectual I couldn't catch up at times. (Wonders if 5 KI ppl has got anything to do with it).

On a side note, my band was principally born today. As in its the first time we actually met face to face! Okay so our performance for Tapestry is on 23rd July, 2pm at Heerens. Why of all places Heerens.... Its gonna be so crowded and we're sooo gonna lose face. And it brilliantly crashes with KYK 1*. Why of all time slots Sunday.... BTW the funny incident was that the workshop speaker was actually the BAK CHOR MEE MAN! Why you say you tell me you dowan the ter kua when you didn't say you dowan the ter kua?!? Though we were trying to emulate him in the background, he's actually quite a serious guy. Support is compulsory for 6E guys and gals. Rmb the dates people! Thank you in advance.
