Halfway between Salzburg and Vienna, we stopped by the Moon lake to take a break. The scenery was breathtaking. Apparently the water is so clear that it is almost drinking water, and divers travel all the way from Germany to take diving courses here. Its pretty deep. I managed to spot one beautiful white swan. But it got aggressive -.-" There're plenty of pension houses, and the locals offer accomodation from EU$15 a day, including breakfast! Calling all sea chiefs, perhaps we could organise a trip here to dive one day heh? Aspiring composers and writers come here to seek inspirations too.

Salzburg is a quiet town 300km from Vienna. The birthplace of Mozart. The place where Sound of Music was filmed. Never really watched Sound of Music though. The last time I tried I got bored since the film was like halfway between black and white to colour. But the story is really touching and salzburg still brings moments from the 1965 film alive.

Oh and I learnt more about Mozart too. He's hair was blonde and apparently there are 3 bunches of it being displayed in the museum rumoured to be his original hair. And his hair had been curled to the sides since he was a toddler. His father was quite a reputable musician and his sister had great talents too. And in the past during concert tours, the musicians don't bathe. 0.O They laugh at the English for bathing by the river. Weird.
