Its a pretty long day. Prague is darn cold! Probably because I'm wearing very thin. And especially since it was raining in the late afternoon and evening. The things here are very expensive. S$8 for a Fillet O'fish meal at mac! And thats much the best value here. I don't even dare to look at the souvenirs -.- yep so don't blame me if I aren't bringing back anything! I can always cope the river water if ya want.

Went on a walking tour to prague castle this morning. The place is super big and its like the biggest palace I've ever seen! Especially the night view of it from Charles' bridge. The guide was talking so much about architecture that I probably can be an expert in this field. Gothic, baroque, neo-gothic, neo-baroque, renaisence (whatever the spelling), romancist. Too bad the good pics are in my father's cam. I only managed the following few.
The cathedral within the castle. Thats a gothic style. Guess how long it took for it to be built? - 5 centuries i think!

The view within the cathedral. The place is majestic! Quite similar to the ones I've seen in Istanbul. Tainted glass windows and towering pillars. Quite interesting I guess.

I wasn't smiling in this pic for a reason. I tried to but I was too sad.
According to my limited memory, this is the place where the Russian tanks rolled in during the Russian occupation of Cezhoslovakia in 1968. A year later, a 21 year old student immolated himself in protest of communist rule. (a day before my birthday -.-) It was followed by his brother a month later. So sad..

In the evening, went to watch a Black Light theatre show which absolutely bored me. Even though it was quite hilarious at first. It was some puppet show done in darkness and with illuminated props. Since its in total darkness, there wasn't a need for strings so its pretty much a lot of backstage preparation. but since there was so little dialogue, I couldn't make out what the actors were acting. So I plonked and fell asleep until my dad gave me some mints to hang on there.

Yea it was DARn cold. Can't stop shivering. I'll be betting my sleep on the 7hr train ride to Budapest tmr.
