It was a freakin long but enjoyable day out there racing against time, all over Singapore. Atlantis 06 left a great aftereffect on me even though I was quiiite pissed during some parts of the race. Left me dead beat thou so I shall make this entry short.

0715 - woke up from bed, realising its only thirty mins to the meeting time. GOSh it was hell of a shock. I practically started my own atlantis race from my own house. Sry mum for causing you to tio the speed cam on PIE.. wad a way to start the day.

0745 - miraculously I arrived on the dot. Any penalties for lateness? Any penalties for lateness? Heng arh nope. Then I wondered why I piaed so hard when wenhui arrived only 10 mins later -.-

My team met with another setback. Sean was grounded yet again. Argh this left us with only 3 ppl, making us much handicapped through out the race. I was thinking maybe sean could provide us with some intellectual help. Turns out that this was what we seriously lacked.

So we raced from JEC to west coast. Not bad considering we were the first ezoac team to complete and not far behind the rest of the 5 grps that were in front. Saw miss pek at the Mac! She must be wondering why there were so many weird orange shirt ppl running abt.

One of the task was to find a passer by with high heels and stockings. There was this annoying woman who refused to let us take a photo with her stockings. Gawd seriously what's wrong with just taking a photo. its not like we're gonna take her face anyway. That wud be *puke* *puke* *puke*. So after many rounds of convincing she finally agreed =p.

Then came the excruciating task at Sembawang hotsprings where we had to soak our legs in water hot enough to boil eggs. My legs were barely soaking for 5 secs before I reached my threshold of tolerance. And we have to soak for 5 minutes! When the torment ended I was practically jumping for joy. And the half boiled egg was yummy too!

We continued our freakin long journey to AMK where my getting pissed started. So our task is to go up 25 storeys and collect checkpoint cards on each storey. Multiply that number by 2 and thats what I had to do instead. Walked all the way to the 23rd storey before I realised the card from the 1st storey was missing. Then came the freakin long journey up and down and up again.

The pissed level escalated when we reached Tekka center which is our next checkpoint. Being one of the earlier grps to arrive I thought we could gain a headstart in this area. Never do we expect the station IC to be MIA. Searched the whole center from top to bottom. Then it was only when 3 to 4 more grps arrived when we found the ics happily enjoying their lunch at the hawker center. ARGh

The next level was one testing our threshold for spicyness. This was the time when we realised 5 ppl did make a difference compared to 3. We had to finish one huge owl of thai chilli soup which tasted like nothing else but chilli. LVL 8 degree of spicyness. Any more you would have to stuff chillies into your mouth. This was the time many groups broke down. Like ys's and ck's. Both *puked* 0.0 Aaron thx for being so herioc! U jezz zam until the half the bowl of devilish hot soup was gone. Then your face practically turned red and if i didn't remember wrongly your face was oozing sweat. It seemed like you were crying already. heh thx for being so pia, but it was really when u realise other grps so slack also can be on par with us - like (u noe who la lol) - that I finally gave up zamming.

Finally we reached bugis junction. this was where the screwing up worsened. We took freakin long to search for all the places in the photos. Argh again manpower disadvantage. Then Aaron left halfway to the toilet after all that spicyness in his stomach lol. Spent real long trying to figure out the neoprints part. Time isn't on our favour. But again its just a game. I tried really hard to convince myself that.

Nxt we went to changi airport. Then to the final checkpoint at pasir ris park. Until here I type until sian le. I shld feel happy we've managed to complete so many tasks within the time given. At least we beat the tahanners>! And enjoyed ourselves playing and hanging out while waiting for the ezoac grps to arrive. Lol we claimed almost all the rankings from the back. The X-country team was seriously imba. Thou I really wanted to accept the idea that they took taxis.

Truly appreciate the seniors for putting up such a successful event for us. Its must be a real gd accomplishment. Hopefully ezoac can achieve that too next year!
